Ryder Cup with your friends.
Any course. Any day.

Tee Apart lets you play Ryder-Cup-style match play against friends on different courses, at different times. Every hole is matched by difficulty and every score is handicap-adjusted — so the match is fair wherever each of you tees off.

iPhone app. Coming to TestFlight — no App Store listing yet.

The Ryder Cup that stopped happening

For years a group of us played our own Ryder Cup — two teams, match play, bragging rights until the next one. Then people moved: different cities, different countries, different time zones. Getting eight golfers on the same first tee became impossible. Tee Apart is the way to keep playing that match when nobody lives in the same place any more.

Three steps to a result

No tee time to coordinate, no simulator required. Play your own round, enter your scores, and let the app settle the match.

1

Create a match

Pick the format, invite your opponents, and set a window — a weekend, a fortnight, a month. Each side chooses its own course.

2

Each side plays their own course, any day in the window

You tee off in Singapore on Saturday; they play Johor on Tuesday. Enter scores hole by hole — big buttons, works offline, syncs later.

3

The app matches holes and declares the result

Holes are paired hardest-to-hardest by par type, scores are handicap-adjusted for each course's difficulty, and the match is called: 3&2, 1 up, or halved.

Handicaps follow the World Handicap System — use your official index or a provisional one until you have it. Because the two courses are never the same, the matching and the adjustment are what make the result mean something.

The three Ryder Cup formats

The formats you already know from the real thing — adapted so each side can play apart.

1 v 1

Singles

Head to head, hole by hole. Win the hole, win the point. The purest form of match play and the first format to ship.

2 v 2 · one ball

Foursomes

Alternate shot. Partners play one ball and take turns — so partners play their round together, and the pair's card goes up against the other pair's.

2 v 2 · best ball

Four-Ball

Each player plays their own ball; the better score on each hole counts for the pair. Partners can even play on different days.

Courses across four regions

Hole-by-hole data for the courses the Singapore golfer actually plays — at home and across the causeway or the ferry. More regions follow as players ask for them.
